Inspiration | Entwined is a bit of an artist’s palette for us as winemakers and we use it as an outlet for trying new things while staying true to the general concept of the blend. It’s a chance for us to show our love of winemaking and our enthusiasm for experimentation, subtle changes from year to year and elements of surprise. It is our signature white and a strong focal point for us in the winery.
Winemaker's Notes | Entwined is always going to be an aromatic blend dominated by Gewurztraminer. Every year is a little bit different in that Pinot Gris and Pinot Blanc may play a larger or smaller part in the percentage of the blend. We do tasting trials every year to determine the exact blend ratio of that year’s Entwined. 2016 Entwined was mostly Gewurztraminer with some Ortega that came from a vineyard under lease in Armstrong.
